Another design blog?

This blog is a notebook of observations from the worlds of art, design, architecture, urbanism, writing and photography. It will collect thoughts on information visualization and an adaptive design process. It aspires to be personal, subjective, idiosynchratic, yet also informative and hopefully useful for anyone interested in the topic.

I am interested in critical work which is built upon adaptive frameworks, and reflects any form of human interaction, whether directly or indirectly. I am interested in work which presents a point of view, when seen in a particular context, through the choice of data, its expression, and the choice of media. Information design and visualization is in the position to provide not only clarity, but commentary and critique which can enrich our lives.

About this site

formfollowsbehavior.com is a web log on adaptive design and information visualization, established in November 2006. Design can be adaptive when it is based on dynamic information frameworks. I am primarily interested in those information sets which reflect human interaction. I am a media artist and designer, currently based in New York (more information).
